Somedays...I don't shower.
Somedays...I don't change out of my P.J.s until the afternoon.
I sometimes watch "what not to wear" while I eat my lunch during Anna's nap (definitely slim pickings during the noonhour. It is either "what not to wear" or "wifeswap" and as Richard pointed out, at least "what not to wear" could be considered somewhat educational).
I exercise to "Exercise T.V." using some mismatched handweights I got at Goodwill. If an exercise requires two handweights I switch off which hand carries the heavier weight so that I don't get lopsided.
I sometimes agonize over my wedding pictures, wondering if I should have done my hair differently, chosen a different dress, or hired a different wedding photographer
I make up songs about changing diapers. My recent song is an adaption of "Time to Say Goodbye" only I call it "Time to Change the Dipe!" I also have a diaper changing song that sounds remarkably like a German drinking song.
I actually watched "The Bachelor" for the first time in my life. AFter just a little thought I came to the conclusion that I never would have made it very far on the show:
1. My clothing would have actually covered my body
2. If the Bachelor offered me the chance to stay overnight with him I would have brought a chaperone, my flannel p.j.s, my scriptures, and some marshmallows and popcorn.
3. If I was going to be on any kind of game show competing for a prize, I would much rather fight for money than the chance to be dumped by some guy whose calf muscles are bigger than his head!
To cap off, sometimes I just have unmotivated days where not a whole lot gets done. My friend Amanda gave me some brilliant advice though, to help me handle it. She said "its okay to have lazy days. Anna will never know!"

haha Your days sound pretty darn similar to how mine used to be when I had an infant! I would eat mac & cheese while watching "what not to wear" and there were many days when I didn't shower. It's all good, and I'm pretty sure Anna doesn't mind at all!
Haha!! I love it. I miss some of those days. Anna will only be oblivious for a little while longer. Then you will notice some things about what you normally watch that they either repeat or ask about. So enjoy this time now. Lazy days are just fine. We all need a recoop every once in awhile.
I think staying in your pajamas all day is a great idea. I actually frequently put pajamas on after I shower just because it's more comfortable, and I'm not going anywhere. Marné has started to notice that she gets dressed and I'm still in my pajamas, but Taysen sure doesn't care.
good advice. Enjoy the quiet days. They won't last. Soon enough you will have one in school all day, one in half day, one in pre-school, and one at home all day. And you will LONG for a little "what not to wear" Or maybe that's just me.
Confession... I want someone to turn me into "What not to wear" so I can get a make over. You are too funny. We miss you guys.
just today i realized it was 2:30 PM, and I hadn't showered, eaten breakfast OR lunch. i guess the life of a mom & a working professional may not be that different after all :) i LOVE your diaper songs! you make me laugh!
I haven't been able to get "Time to Change the Dipe" out of my head all day long!
