I went to my doctor appointment today. Today is my due date, but our daughter shows no signs of making her appearance in the next 24 hours or more. So, in an effort to get her to speed up her entry, I bought Richard and I tickets to see "Singin in the Rain" at the Hale Center Theatre on Friday night. So whereas before I was telling her to come by a certain time...I am now instructing her to wait until Saturday to come. What can I say, I like to do everything, and I hate to miss out on anything good.
The good news is, if I go into labor tomorrow, we can change our tickets to next Friday or Saturday with only a small charge. If I actually go into labor on Friday, we will just need to find someone who will be willing to go see an amazing play in our place. Any takers on who wants to be our backup couple to go see a play in our stead?
I figure that planning something on a certain day is the surest way to actually start labor moving along. The price of two theater tickets has got to be less than the Pitocin they would pump me full of on Tuesday (July 28th) if I had to be induced right? So actually, paying for tickets that we may never use could be my most clever plan yet!

I would be happy to go. But I hope I don't have to. :)
If you really need us to, we probably could :) Did I ever tell you that you look fabulous for being 9 months pregnant!
