Yes, we are moving. To the middle of Bellevue. Less than five miles from where we had been living. I say had because we already moved-- yesterday. And now I am in my 11th place since moving away from my parents home (not including the mission). But we are officially done with apartment living, and have moved up in the life to the basement of a house.
It was totally Anna's fault. If I had to listen to her complain about living at the top of a huge, daunting hill across from a deserted mall and the T-mobile building one more time....or listen to her endless rants about there not being a park nearby, and the terrible parking situation....
well, I just couldn't take it anymore. I had to do it....for her!
So now we live in a neighborhood, close to a farm, blueberry fields, a few lakes, walking paths, and a library. And having a driveway doesn't hurt either...and an extra bedroom....and a kitchen that doesn't look like it was crafted for a small sailing vessell. I have a kitchen....a REAL kitchen. You can dance in it. I tried...last night.
But I know we were supposed to be in the place that we were for a few good reasons:
Amanda Chan
Ruth Thompson
Andrea Dance
Kari Dance
Laurel Criddle
Monica Bowen
Carrie Hong
Angie Nielson
Kim Largent
Katie Hatfield
Maggie Szhu (sp?)
I couldn't have made it through this first year without you guys. You were an answer to my prayers and made my life joyful when I could have been very discouraged!

Wow, not sure why I was listed. I am sad you are leaving the ward though. I completely understand needing more space though. Zeke and I were at the place you just moved from as our 'fist place'. It is small. You lasted a bit longer than we did. We moved when Lucas was only 6 months old.
Hsu-Romanization is just funky on that one. ;-)
Nate told me Sunday you were leaving. We wanted to get over there yesterday to help but my sister's baby finally decided to make his appearance. Hope everything went well. It sounds heavenly. We still are close by for Anna watching whenever you need it! AND, now you're in our home stake -- meeting at the building Nate & I experienced our first stake dances in. You will love it! We will miss you in the ward but hope to still see much of you. Would be happy to come dance in your REAL kitchen : ) Wahoo!
@Maggie: Because you're awesome.
You would also be on my list as a friend who has been a great blessing in my life. I'm glad you moved into the area, and that you aren't living too far away!
Thanks Rachael! :) If I could quit my job and hang out more with everyone on your list I would...:) May...come quickly please. :) Also, I would have never ran the 1/2 with out you running it too. Thanks for being my friend. :)
I feel your pain with the moving! It's nice to get into a new place, but moving is a pain. I hope you like it! It sounds great.
I'm so, so glad you're not going too far away. I don't think I could handle another friend leaving after Denise, Kristin, and Alison all moved away!
RACH!!! I'm not even sad you moved away...because its not like I'm going to see you less!!! I remember you speaking in relief society on my first sunday in the ward and I thought "i want to be her friend"
SO HAPPY you moved into a bigger place! I know the feeling of being able to breathe a little! Call me. xoxo
