I went outside this afternoon to take some photos of the tree that was freed from the burden of the snowstorm yesterday (see "Poor Tree" #1 in yesterday's post).

I had been looking at the tree for three minutes before I realized that I was sharing the tree with dozens of bees enjoying an afternoon treat.

I wondered how often I miss something incredible because I don't take the time to look at life from a different perspective. I know there is a world of natural beauty to be discovered, and I believe the same practice can reveal truth in all facets of life.
Just like my friends the bees move from flower to flower, I find myself moving from one activity to the next so quickly that I rarely stop to reflect. What wisdom or insights could I garner by learning to consider the world from new perspectives?
