you can never have too much of this...

"Pucker up Buttercup!" (August 4, 2009): Check out those lips. They are definitely Richard's lips-- all full and sexy! Richard is already looking at shotguns to find the one to inspire just the right amount of fear in her someday suitors!
"Assume Fetus Legs Position" (July 31, 2009): This is Richard's favorite thing about Anna-- the way she draws up her legs and feet into the fetus position. He likes it because he fell in love with her while she was in my tummy and she would often kick him with those same feet when he would lay his face against my stomach.
"I am ready for my close up!" (August 1, 2009): If anyone wants to know what Anna is doing at any given moment-- this picture sums it up. Yep, just checked and she is still sleeping!
"If the shirt fits-- bear it!" (July 30, 2009): We didn't have any shirts for Anna other than onsies, so we decided to give her the bear's BYU T-shirt. Unfortunately, Anna's outfit that day would not have met honor code requirements due to its cropped, mid-riff bearing nature.
"Sleep mode Anna" (July 31, 2009): She spends about 20 out of every 24 hours asleep. Moving so soon after she was born, we didn't have a real crib, so we just laid blankets on the floor and hoped she would be okay with the makeshift bedding.
"I'm the favorite Grandma..."
"NO, I'M the favorite Grandma...." (July 30, 2009)
Anna is grandchild number 17 on my side, and number 1 on Richard's side. But I am pretty sure she is going to be the favorite all around!
"Froggy feet" (August 4, 2009): Anna likes to curl her feet around the straps of the car seat. We took her to her first movie and luckily she slept through the whole thing...because it was the worst movie I have ever seen and we ended up leaving halfway through. Instead of movies, I think we are just going to pop popcorn and just watch Anna.
"Four Generations" (July 30, 2009)
"Angelic Anna": (July 31, 2009)
"First walk" (July 31, 2009)
"Dressed in my Sunday Best" (August 2, 2009)
"Cute!" (August 5, 2009): Anna likes to look out the window at the world. She almost never cries when she is awake-- she just likes to look toward the light. I hope she always does that!

All great pictures ... I had to blow each one up so I didn't miss any details of how precious she is. I sure hope Richard doesn't pull a shotgun on Boston Ahh... I'm a little nervous now.

Boston is pre-approved ... but I'm sure you could protect him anyway with your mad FBI skills.

Sleeps 20 out of 24 hours!?! I fully expect to have a saintly teenager whilst yours is a handful, to even things out.

Cute kid!

Hurray! New pictures that I've been waiting for! I totally support the bedding on the floor - when they're that little they can sleep anywhere! I LOVE the froggy feet and yellow dress pictures. How adorable and sweet she is! You guys sure did well:) It looks (for now) like she has your coloring, Rachael, I hope she keeps it because it's so beautiful!
