The incredible swimming baby!

Anna had her first chance to go swimming this last weekend. Since Richard is well into his busy season at work, Anna and I took the chance to go home for a week to visit family and soak up the sunshine...
although we got lots of great family time in, we left all the sunshine in Seattle where it has been riding 60 degrees for almost the last 3 weeks. Today, finally, the sun decided to come out and remind me why I love my home town.

However, one of the best modern day inventions is the indoor swimming pool where you can go swimming all year round regardless of how pasty white your legs may be.

I was nervous about how Anna would take to the pool, but she loved it and didn't seem to want to go when we finally left. I love her cute chunky thighs in her butterfly bathing suit. I didn't have my camera, so all these pics were caught on my trusty cell phone.

Anna could totally take the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition. She is so much cuter than all those supermodels.
Anna is my blue eyed girl. Can you feel yourself being pulled into her magnetism. When she looks up at you with those big eyes, I dare you to refuse her anything.

She had a great time swimming with her grandma.

I love this picture of Anna. She has a lot of natural curl, just like me, and when her hair is drying after a bath or after a swim, it just becomes a cute mop of curls, right on top.

I took just a thirty second video of Anna playing in the water with her grandma. This is definitely an "all Anna" blog post, but enjoy!

I am so glad she's getting the curly hair and blue eyes! What a heartbreaker! And she looks so great in a swimsuit. Breakin' hearts, I say...

It's great to see all of these. I watched the video with Townsend on my lap and he started to smile and talk. He thinks she's cute too :)
