This girl loves to paint! I decided to give both Anna and I some creative wings by stocking up on paint and paper and projects to last out the long Northwest winter. The first project was....
painting Anna!
We really had intended to paint a birdhouse, but that lasted for all of five minutes before she realized that her body was a much more interesting canvas! Every painting project now ends the same way, with a bath, because Anna inevitably ends up painting her tummy, her face, her feet.
We have also gone to a cool painting storytime at a local toy store that Anna really likes-- again, because she can end up painting her face.
Richard really likes that the photo below shows Anna holding a paintbrush in both hands ("like DaVinci" Richard says). Anna has shown a fairly clear preference for her left hand, but she whips out the right when the moment suits her. Apparently, Richard was the same way.
