My watch just stopped. I love having a watch and knowing what time it is....having that comforting indiglo light available to tell me the time whenever I need it. And now my wrist feels naked and exposed and to be honest, I feel a little lost.
But I have recently thought about different ways we can live without a watch and still run on time:
1. ask your husband what time it is
2. live next to one of those banks that has a digital clock (and bonus you get to know the temperature too)
3. carry around small appliances like vcr's, cable boxes, and microwaves (my next new invention-- battery powered microwaves)
4. train your children to wake up at the same time each morning as a point of reference
5. check the position of the sun (oh wait, I live in Seattle....)
6. carry around your cellphone...and then use it to call your husband to ask him what time it is!
Happy month of May everyone-- that happiest month of the year!

There is a watch repair place in Factoria mall. The replace batteries for like $10.
You could always live next to a clocktower and listen to the bells. A little fifteenth century, but it still works!
my watch cost less than $20, was bought two years ago, and was made with elastic...
probably not going to repair it.
glad you put #6 there, because that's pretty much how i tell time. well kinda, i either look at my cell or ask johnny! i never know what time it is and he always does!
