Christmas is going to take about 10 different blog posts to tell, so in the interim, I thought I would post a couple of recent videos taken of Anna over the break. The first one is called "Searching for Elmo" because the whole family got involved in searching for Elmo one evening after he got misplaced in one of the rooms. One of our family's themes is "No friend left behind" so of course, we had to find him right away. Anna's plaintive "Ellllllmoo" is so cute and genuinely concerned. You will fall in love. Elmo was subsequently found at the "little people" airport. Watch only the first minute.
The second video was taken just this evening. Anna sometimes inexplicably decides that the most benign things are absolutely hilarious. Well, I don't know if you would call a poopy diaper benign, but to Anna, there wasn't a better toy in the world in that minute. All I did was throw the wrapped up diaper out the door of her room so I could throw it away I put her to bed, and she just started doubling over with laughter. And of course, I had to continue the fun...

that little girl is SO enchanting! wish we were closer so her and hazel could play together!
Hilarious! Babies really don't need toys since they seem to have more fun with ordinary, or stinky, things anyway. :)
