More blog traffic!

Richard says I will get more people to view my blog if I

a) host a prize give-away
b) post scrapbook pages
c) sew a dress from an old set of curtains
d) build a dollhouse out of spagetti and post a tutorial
e) pose a question at the end of my post and ask for feedback

So here I go:

****The great prize giveaway****

The first 8 people to comment on the blog and answer the question at the end of the post get to have dinner with Richard and I-- but you have to come up to Seattle to get it!

****The Scrapbook page****

****The do it yourself craft****

This is a lasagne lean-to. If you need any help constructing one of your own, just call me.

****The end of post question*****

If you were on a desert island, and you happened to have a dvd player that ran on solar power, and you could only watch three movies for the rest of your life, what would they be?

Easy choice for me. Star Wars episodes IV, V, and VI.

I am willing to drive to Seattle just to have dinner with you guys. We are really looking forward to seeing you guys in a week!! I don't know how to answer that question so I will think about it during my 15 hour drive and let you know when I get there = )

I am totally unable to come see you at this time, but as I understand it, YOU will be in P-town in about a month, so I figure we can hit you up for dinner then. Mwahahaha! So my answer is: (and this is hard for me to decide...) Gladiator, Zoolander, and Notting Hill... I suppose...I really can't say that's a solid decision at this point.

Oooh...good question! Does the BBC version of "Pride and Prejudice" count as one movie? I know I'd pick that. As for the other two, I'm not sure. I bet I'd pick at least one Jimmy Stewart movie, like "Rear Window" or "You Can't Take it With You." And I'd probably want at least one art documentary like "The Power of Art", just to keep my mind sharp with art history facts. :)

oh! Can we claim a dinner if we can make it up there?!

Ok, for the movie question: I would have to say Casablanca, Lawrence of Arabia, and The Great Escape.

Can I claim one of Richard's masterpieces as dinner?! Sure do miss your guys' cooking. I would have to say Blind Side, Ice Age (either 1 or 3), and Hitch. I know I'm weird.

Oh Rachel, you're my favorite! I'd love to have dinner with you & Richard, but they drive from MN might be a bit long...how about we do it over skype? My movies: The Sound of Music (just because it's super long), What about Bob? and Legally Blonde. You wanna join me?
